Welcome to my health and well-being website - learner section


This website is an on-line support facility for learners, employers, partners and staff to access any help and guidance with health and well-being.

All initial enquiries will be answered by Emma, our on-line support person each day between 8.45am and 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday and then discussed with Christian at least once each week.

This will ensure any issues requiring immediate attention are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Relaxation techniques

Relaxation can help improve your health and well-being and relieve the symptoms of stress. It can also help you calm down and take a step back from a stressful situation.

Although the cause of the anxiety won’t disappear, you will probably feel more able to deal with it once you’ve released the tension in your body and cleared your thoughts.

All relaxation techniques combine breathing more deeply with relaxing your muscles.

Don’t worry if you find it difficult to relax at first. It’s a skill that needs to be learned and it will come with practice.

Yoga and tai chi are both good forms of exercise that may help to improve breathing and relaxation.
